Zero Tolerance Policy
Zero Tolerance Policy
Our GP surgery operates a zero-tolerance policy regarding abusive, aggressive, or violent behaviour towards our staff, other patients, or visitors.
We understand that visiting the surgery can sometimes be stressful, but we expect all individuals to treat our team with respect and courtesy at all times. Any form of verbal abuse, threats, intimidation, or physical aggression will not be tolerated.
Unacceptable behaviour includes but is not limited to:
• Shouting, swearing, or using offensive language
• Threatening or intimidating behaviour
• Physical violence or damage to property
• Persistent harassment or unreasonable demands
If a patient or visitor engages in unacceptable behaviour, they will receive a formal warning advising them that further incidents may result in removal from the practice list. However, in cases of serious or extreme behaviour, immediate action may be taken without a prior warning, including contacting the police or removing the patient from our list.
Our priority is to ensure a safe and respectful environment for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation.
