Tirzepatide (Mounjaro)
This medication has NHS approval for a specific group of patients with obesity, but it is not yet available in Coventry & Warwickshire.
A new NHS weight management service including Tirzepatide, nutrition, and behavioural support is expected in autumn 2025. Until then, GPs cannot prescribe it, and NHS care cannot take over private prescriptions
